Pickup is not the cheap option.
Half of Forsa’s orders never touch a vehicle, and that is by design rather than by accident.
Most food apps treat pickup as a fallback — a radio button for people unwilling to pay a fee. We built it as an equal path, because in a compact city a lot of good food is already on your way home.
The offer price is identical either way. Pickup simply removes the delivery fee, and often the wait: you collect inside a window the merchant sets, when the food is at its best rather than after a journey.
It also unlocks offers delivery cannot carry. A surplus tray at closing time has twenty minutes of life in the merchant’s plan, not forty. Pickup makes those listings possible at all.
Delivered or collected, the discount is the same. A saving that evaporates when you choose the convenient option is not a saving.
